I'm really happy with how this turned out, overall - New characters meshed well with the old, and were interesting on their own
- I thought everyone played them well
- PCs were unpredictable, but not to the point I got stumped
- Got the story flavor about right
- Mostly moved right along
- End result is a fun, readable story, IMO
Two thumbs up from GM to the players Got some business to wrap up (some of which I'm sure I've forgotten): - Final income for the sale of the guns. Was there a final decision on what you guys kept vs sold? All the dice-rolling is done, we just have to total it up
- Final income from sale of whiskey/etc to GuthrieCo
- 2 mo downtime character improvement: I don't have a final tally yet, and I probably won't do that until time for the next run, but I'll probably be allowing conversion of Plot Points at 1.5:1, and probably about 5CPs bonus
- There's the potential we could revisit the Calista PbP thing in the interim—we'll see if LabRat can spare the mental bandwidth at some point
- I've got some touch-ups to do to the ship model, and a big revamp of the space station model
- I've got some cleanup to do on the wiki and blog stuff, and I need to update my website with the new campaign
- JoJo's Enemy is going to make an appearance, meaning I/we are going to have to figure out who exactly that is
Missing anything? Something to consider for next time: I think I'd like to just go ahead and get to the bank-robbing, and I thought I'd ask: what heist movie/show(episode) should be my primary inspiration? What's your favorite?

I believe it's going to be all of the ones on the Ship's Boat (3x Laser Carbines, 7x Gauss PDWs, 2 Urban Assault Weapons (w/ETC), and 1 Heavy Laser (switchable)) as anyone who wanted to keep a weapon had already pulled it from the list. I'm probably gonna cash in all of AJ's Plot Points ... I liked the idea of them, but I think the amount need to be dialed down. I have some thoughts for that but will be posting them in my House Rules bit for Red Sky. And I'm going to actually finish up "Chronicles of Trent" if it kills me. I've got it plotted out. Just need to actually write it. Hmm. Not a super big movie/TV show heist guy so I'd have to think about that one.

2 Tons Dry Bulk (CIF), €175 Misc Used Weapons, €1000 .125T Booze + .125T "metals", €125 (~half of probable "true" value)
I've found there's a rather gaping disparity between the actual cost of individual weapons in UT and any other representation of "weapons as cargo" per-Ton cost in any of the other GURPS books. I'm going to have to find a conversion that works for me. In the meantime, I've given it a basic guess that should still be pretty lucrative, but not unbelievable.
Booze came to ~15 cases of 6 bottles, 265 lbs. I figure you guys kept a case.

Overall really successful chapter! Had some fun playing a low down dirty schemy-schemer. Overall I would consider this a success, especially the last two or three sessions. Think I'm going to cash in my Plot Points and try to buy off my criminal record. I will update the rest of my character once I figure out where my points should go.
Definitely up for a PbP, so let me know when you want to go and we can do this in the "off season"
In terms of movies for a heist, I completely second the Italian Job. Everyone has their role to play and all the roles fit into one beautiful puzzle.

2 Tons Dry Bulk (CIF), €175 Misc Used Weapons, €1000 .125T Booze + .125T "metals", €125 (~half of probable "true" value) Applied to the ledger but sadly, it still isn't enough to cover the impending "Annual Maintenance" ... so we're definitely going to have find more work ... Something that occurs to me re: this - if we're skipping forward in time (~2 mos, I believe) for the next arc, how does that affect the ledger and the like? Obviously, we're not going to be sitting around and doing nothing in that time, but how do we handle payroll and expenses? Something to consider. Also, we'll need to figure out exactly why Calista and Zennith don't just bugger off once we've recovered their nest egg from said bank (unless they do just leave and entirely new characters replace them...)

You're assuming that they are actually going to get their nest egg back. Besides, they were going to use it to buy into the bar, I think. They would stick around because it is lucrative, a good base of operations for contacts, and dare I say, rather exciting. It has been a long time since Calista has seen a duel with Cutlasses...bring back memories.

I'm probably going to assume a handful of freight runs will occur in the between-time. We'll probably roll those out off-screen.

Regarding Plot Points - Nobody spent more than 2 in a given session
- Most spent over the entire chapter was 6; least was 2; average 3.4 (barely more than was started with)
I don't regret using this system, but it obviously needs some adjustment. Rigil was talking about using a communal pool of PPs, which could be fewer in number—this isn't bad. Of course, with a big pool of PPs either way, you're never going to end up using Relationship or Ethics points for that, so it takes away from those. I really wanted there to be a per-session "advancement" but maybe that's not really necessary? What are your feelings about the system, after the fact?

Of course, with a big pool of PPs either way, you're never going to end up using Relationship or Ethics points for that, so it takes away from those. My thinking for the communal pool was thus: - There exists a number of Plot Points equal to the number of PCs active in a story arc (remember: I was thinking of this with regards to "Red Sky" so each "volume" is a story arc.) So, for the most part, FIVE.
- Through the course of the story arc, any PC can use these Plot Points - so, FREX, if PC1 has a really bad dice night and has to use two of them, s/he can.
- However, these PPs do not replenish per session, only per story arc. Once used, the plot point(s) are gone. So, in the before-mentioned example, if PC1 used two PPs, that means 3 remain until the story arc is complete.
- These Plot Points cannot be turned in for CPs and are basically used simply for rerolls. I'm still considering Impulse Buys with that regard.
The more I think about it, though, the less I think this mechanic is actually necessary for Red Sky since A. Most of the PCs have Luck (Mat has Extraordinary Luck, so he can reroll once every 30 minutes of real-time) and B. If I use that Fate Aspect thing, some or most or possibly all characters will already have "Destiny Points" to play with, which will make this redundant in the first place so... Advancement of what, exactly? Plot Points? I think if we dialed down the number available, they would have worked a little better. I'd even consider having a single PP available for a PC per session, maybe?
