Per flyingtam, all characters will be 6th level. Character creation method is roll 4d6 7 times, rerolling 1's, and discarding the lowest of the 4d6 rolls.
Since we generally have a problem when it comes to "leaders", I'm going to build my character (Male Human Fighter 6, heading toward Knight Protector) around being the leader of our merry band. I understand that this adventure thing is oriented more around a war scenario so lots of combat is a given.
Flyingtam: feel free to throw in any suggestions or additional comments.

are the complete books being made available for this? Someone else asked this very question. Here was my response: "No matter what book, pamphlet, scenario, download, whatever, your character is still going to suck. Fighters should fight, Clerics should heal, Wizards should cast spells, and Rogues should pick locks and Find/Remove Traps. Everything else is just gravy." I guess I should say, play what you want to as long as your having fun. A certain Ogrin made the game not so much fun for a lot of people, so he was dealt with. I pretty much think it'll be the same this time around. It's standard "Generic" D&D. I plan on using Greyhawk, but don't worry about going anywhere. You won't have time.

Going Druid here St.13, Dx.15,Con.11, Int.13. Ws.18,Cha.13. You were talking about equipment and having to figure out what everyone gets. May I suggest letting us buy our own using the rules in the DMG page 135 which would allot everyone 13,000 gold to by it with ;D. Less work for you

Seems I made a slight miscalculation. Ya'll need to make 5th level characters. Sorry. Midpoint of 5th level to be exact.

Plan on playing? What are you playing? we are in need of a Cleric or spell slinger type. I think but not for sure that a mw robe is just very a well made without any kind of bonuses

Ludgar of Shibboleth: Mrs2/Ftr4 (6th) Character SheetBackground StoryWish List: Weapons & armor, nothing particular. I'm preferring, at the moment, to make my attacks "count" over maximizing damage potential (although that wouldn't disappoint me).

Updated Sir Aethelric to reflect level up. NOTE: I plan to begin playing him as a bit more introspective since his longtime friend and ally, Ludgar, has perished. No offense Q or McN, but the alignments of the rogue and the druid were too different from Aethelric's for him to be really impacted by their deaths...

Hmmm ... that's an interesting question. Looking forward to seeing the GMs thoughts ... although I suspect that I'd probably allow it in rare instances (such as a paladin's bonded warmount) but, with the caveat that they can only understand the language, not speak it.
