Melikova learned to take care of herself as a street rat, doing her best to keep her face covered so nobody knew what she was. One day, She came accross a begger named Pavel that fed her once. Ever since then, she has tried to watch out for him since he hid her once from some hostile shopkeepers. He was always truthful with me, she could tell.
One day, outside a pub, Melikova discovered music. The sounds from the minstrels called to her. She wanted to know how to do what they were doing. To this day, she has this wonderous instrument that a instrument crafter made for me as a test. It is loud enough be heard in a drunk mead hall! Since getting it, she has become a master player of the herdy gerdy, and can sing and dance while performing.
After doing a favor to a dog trainer, he let her have the runt of his litter. Melikova and Butch the doberman are best friends. Be careful around Melikova if that dog does not know you, you may get bit. But hes a bit slower than he used to. He is starting to show his age.

He is used to the tavern environment, but if he is left alone, do NOT go in without Melikova. He is on guard duty usually.
