So, I have the Dracula Underacted file in .pdf, .epub, and .mobi. This document/book is the primary handout for the players. It is the PCs primary source for clues, leads, etc.
For my PCs, if you would like a copy I can provide you one in any of the above formats (I also have a hard copy as well for the table). Just PM me which format you would like, and I can send it to you.

Not via PM, but I think I'll go with the .mobi. That way, I can put it on my Kindle.

For the most part, the PCs, as bad-ass as they are, are not aware of the supernatural - in an overt sense. Incredibly vague rumors, or anecdotes at best.
If you want to start more aware, we have to chat a bit more as such foreknowledge would need some hook, and changes the initial feel.

Looks like we are looking at a 16 Aug session 0. We will be discussing what flavor of game we are going to strive for, character creation, and group background. Along with some broad stroke discussion about the game direction and ruleset.

Well, straight away, one of the things I was thinking that would be neat if we set the campaign in the 80s or 90s, before cell phones and the internet became as ubiquitous as they are now ... but I'll be arguing that point more on 16 Aug...

I may need a bit as I struggle to use a card catalog in the library, or look up a name in a phonebook

Well, the good thing with NBA is that it doesn't go into that level of detail, I don't think. Besides, we're action heroes, not researchers!

Hmmm... wondering if I should try my hand at Obsidian Portal. Thoughts?

Hmmm... wondering if I should try my hand at Obsidian Portal. Thoughts? Up to you to see if you have the time to sink into it. I always start with good intentions but my time is always limited so OP ultimately suffers in the end when I run. However, as a player I always like to go back and look at the recap sessions in case I need a piece of info or for a refresher.

Hmmm... wondering if I should try my hand at Obsidian Portal. Thoughts? Don't do it because it's "what one does." Do it because it serves an actual purpose. Does it? If so, what is it? Are any of the players actually going to use it? Also, don't do it if you can't keep up with it. Also, we have a Core Group wiki. If it's just an info-dump, may as well use that instead. It's less "clunky."

@junkee I was going to ask this on Friday but I forgot. I wanted to know what type of flavor this game was going to be in terms of flavor. Do you plan on making this more action or investigative?

@junkee I was going to ask this on Friday but I forgot. I wanted to know what type of flavor this game was going to be in terms of flavor. Do you plan on making this more action or investigative? My desire is that it be a bit of both (in as equal parts as possible). As we start into the campaign it will be a bit of GM attempts to pull the PCs skill requests, "Anyone have 'X' skill, anyone want to spend a point?". As everyone gets more comfortable, I will ask less, leaving it to everyone to ask for information based on their skill abilities.

If possible, I'm going to request the GM to start a "what do we know" thread that will provide a session recap about the main points that we uncovered in session. It can even be bulleted. I just know that I am not going to remember everything from week to week and it may be a good idea to collect information learned in one place.

Known Investigation Vectors: - Weapon Smuggling from Turkey to Odessa with weapons originating in Baghdad; Carroll was working on a dossier for this and said it would take some time. We should probably check back in with him to determine current status; this might make the most sense as our next entrance vector.
- Black Sea Bank - we know that AgriWealth had ties to the bank, as did the Serbian gangsters we interacted with in OP1.
- New Data Points obtained from information obtained from the recent conclusion to OP2 - these are still TBD since we haven't dug into this just yet
- Mr. Iraklidis - who is is and who does he work for? Not sure if we really care too much at this point since he did assist us, even though he did so with some suspicious assets.
Others?

Known Investigation Vectors Thanks so much for these, I have a hard enough time remembering names and dates on the best of times, given all the names of places, people, and businesses in the investigative style - I completely lose track completely.

That's why I was taking notes. Because I knew I'd forget this stuff too.
