There were no ships damaged as such that they could be used as spare parts. The ships that the Crimson Fleet left now belongs to Lady Vanderboren and will be used in the best interests of Farshore. Those ships that were seized will need to be refitted. Given the size of this locale, I'm betting that Worley may be the most qualified person in the area to oversee their refitting, and I'm pretty sure Mr. Mazrim will recommend him for the job. Even if he's not in charge of the operation, he'll at least be invaluable help to whomever is…end result is the same—lot's of shipbuilding-related work for Worley.

Absolutely I'll recommend him for the job, though if that doesn't work, I'll see about employing him myself. As Worley is the only surviving (that I know about) member of the original group of friends, Mazrim feels obligated to watch out for him like a brother. Nothing happens over night ;D. You make it sound like you are about to buy her Lets say 3-horses Hey, I'm basing my thoughts on what I know about actual medieval marriages between nobility. It was like the wife was "bought" back then. Very very few unions were matches of affection or love, but were instead business deals - if the married couple actually got along or happened to fall in love along the way, that was a benefit. And 3 months in a medieval era is certainly not "overnight" given how short the life expectancies were. Hell, most newly wed couples didn't meet each other until they were actually married. Magman, Mazrim is also going to look into mending fences with Abner's uncle. While Mazrim has nothing but contempt for Abner himself, the uncle (what's his name again?) has shown his quality by not trying to conduct a coup after Levina took over.

Knowing where this game is headed, I'm starting to think Worley isn't really well suited—he was good enough for what we've been through, but things will change. Either he needs to become something more useful to the future developments, or he needs to get swapped out for someone who is. Of course, at this point I'm not really sure what he would need to become/swap with, exactly. Uzi (dwarven caver) or Snaga (goblin rogue) might be good…
We don't really have much of a group mechanic here either—we've got new characters coming in, and it's difficult to say what the group needs most.
Any thoughts?

Magman i have a total of 18 first level characters. I know what 10 of their stats are. I was wondering if you can give me the stats on the 4 Olman. That leaves a total 4 i dont have stats on. I was wondering if you can make them under age and have them raised by the Abbey so i can just choose their stats and class? I leveled the Cleric so now he is expert 1/cleric 2. I raised one of the Warriors to the Sargeant he is Warrior1/Fighter1. I also got a paladin per your permission. I would have him raised up from one of the parisheners children so he is very young. he would be 16 and would of been heavily involved in the last battle. He would be paladin 2.
My current leadership score is 18 (10 for level, 6 for chrisma mod, 2 for stronghold) This would let me have: -35 first level followers -3 second level followers -1 third level follower -1 fourth level follower
I understand I can't have them all now. But i have devised a way for them to level and to recruit.
Also i'm just going to put everything else under a new thread called Farshore Abbey

Something you asked to be posted Rigil
Excerpt From the Brine Harlot’s Log—
We reached Gallivant Cove with no incident, although the Seventh Coil yuan-ti renewed their demands for shore leave. I denied them again, promising them all the leave they could want once my sister’s little project is mine. Payment to the Glutton went smoothly (that beast’s teeth would make fine trophies!), and I personally led a group of five to the caves. The trogs looked worse than they stank—some sort of malady afflicts them for certain. Lords of Dread? Hardly. Yet they took our payments and slaves readily enough. There was only one shadow pearl ready for us. I made clear my displeasure, but the simpering lepers convinced me that they were being truthful, and promised several more in a few months’ time. I’ve tried to avoid staring at the pearl overmuch. Its depths are hypnotic. After seeing the number one of these little beauties did on Kraken’s Cove, I make sure to keep it in a padded container at all times. It’s too bad we can’t just toss the thing into Farshore with a catapult and let them kill each other off, but I’ll not be the one to tell command we broke another of their toys!

The Shadow Pearl is a lustrous black pearl approximately four inches in diameter. Anyone who studies the pearl's glossy surface for more than a minute sees what appears to be a swirling vortex of shadows within. As the viewer watches, faces form in the shadows until a twisted, feral reflection of the viewer rises to the pearls surface , leering and hateful. While unnerving this no effect anyone viewing it.
Radiates strong transmutation, and evil
I will have to check out the summon planar ally to see if he will be able to help. As it is the DC is to high. And you do not have the resources to do any researching on shadow pearls.

I do not recall, So give me a knowledge planes roll (should be easy enough for you) [dice=20] Frak. Its acting up again. That's a 14, BTW, so +11 = 25. [rand=6669421316348821326179252665429239341371361730226471512693878715]

Thought that you had a better knowledge planes than that It does radiate a moderate transmutation.

A +11 isn't something to just scoff at. Is it possible to take a 20 (like, I spend a lot of time researching it with the various priests in town)? That would give me a 31.
And don't worry - I plan to dump some more points into KS: Planes at the next level.

Yes you can, same result. It is not an easy roll. After all it is an artifact

After looking over everyone's levels I may have to make some adjustments, but I need to know how many are going to be at the table. So far Gigermann, Rigil, LabRat and occasionally Mike E. is this correct?

Sounds right

Does that mean our respective levels may need to be adjusted? Mazrim, who is the highest level character I believe, is 14th level (wow). What are we supposed to be if only 4 characters are active?

Suppose there's a possibility that WxMan could make a reappearance during this one

It appears the earliest I'll be able to return with any consistency is Jan 2015 - My classes end then and I'm hopeful work will stabilize. We'll see. I'm still toying with a potential Mongoose Traveller campaign in the near future depending on the interest of the group.

Since the current composition of the group lacks a dedicated trapfinder, I'm wondering of some of the more recent characters might warrant a swap? Or possibly to snag a Leadership Feat and take Chris' old character as a Cohort?

I can do it if you want me too. That wouldn't be an issue. Fighters have feats to spare :-)

McN said on Friday that he really didn't like either of those options. Basically leaves us with the option to keep Chris' character as a "unattached" hanger-on.

I seem to remember that SQ at one time was going to have a cohort cousin, I am still willing to go with that as long as he is a dwarf rouge.

It was early evening when you teleported out. Roughly 12 hours and start bright early the next morning then?
