Background (no particular order):- Wanders from colony to colony, doing Good™, esp helping travelers vs jungle creatures
- Míriel has easily-identifiable collar/scarf
- Mostly a loner, keeping to himself, lives off the land
- Been waiting for "the group" for "the mission"—fate thing (told by seer?)
- Considers the Isle to be a place of "savage natural beauty"
- Great-Grandson of a Celestial, patron of this area
- Recognized among the long-term colonists (at least, for bringing Míriel into town, & resulting hilarity)
- Aside from doing Good™, generally uses nature knowledge to avoid confrontations
- Uses GoodBerries as "doggie treats"
- Found & raised Míriel from almost-hatchling
- Follower of Istus/Fate
- Has a Sacred Grove on the Island somewhere (early stages?)
- Known for helping local farmers via plant-growth spells and such
Suggestions? @gm: Feel free to edit.

Background update:- Considers the Isle of Dread and surrounds to be "off balance," and considers the elimination of the "big 7 threats" to be the best method of restoring the balance
- On good terms with [Stinky Gnome Druid] [who is aware of Ulræd's grove location(?)]
- Ulræd's grove(?) is "naturally occurring," and he has been cultivating and protecting it, keeping it a relative secret
Player's Note: I think I did the background stuff after I created the character stats. In retrospect, it makes more sense that he would be able to speak Olman, since he will have been interacting with the local tribes a lot. I'll replace one of his languages with Olman, unless the GM prefers otherwise.

Where is the Grove anyway?
And shouldn't you reroll that 1 on the INT?

Where is the Grove anyway? And shouldn't you reroll that 1 on the INT? 1) It's a seekrit (GM never dealt with it, so it remains unspecified) 2) Not a normal "character," so I make no assumptions (until GM says otherwise)

How What When?? In what book PHB p202, Awaken spell. This was something I had talked about the last run we played, shortly after I first got the ability to cast the spell, that I was planning to do so—'course other things were going on, and I'm sure it went in one ear and out the other, since it wasn't exactly "important," but I've kept it alive anyway.

@mcn:
It occurred to me recently that I had never taken a campaign bonus Feat for Ulræd like all the other characters had—so if you don't care, I'll add this one:

I figure I'd take an hour or two, depending on what sort of direction I get from the "locals," if any. I can do it at night, just as easily, when we're wrapped up for the day.
