Allure (min) Cortex Specter (min) Nose for Trouble (min) Talented (Mechanical Repair) (min) | [rs=7][atrb=valign,top] Anthony D. Westen is a Neutral-Good, adult male, motivated by survival/safety. Although he sometimes comes across as happy-go-lucky, he is actually surprisingly benevolent if occasionally slightly paranoid. He is focused on trying to find out who issued the Burn Notice on him which led to him being fired as an Intelligence operative. He had a dysfunctional upbringing on Ariel to a cool, distant father and an abusive, alcoholic mother. An only child, he spent the first fourteen years of his life trying to gain the approval of his father, only to be constantly told that he wasn’t good enough, or smart enough, or strong enough. Because his family was wealthy, he was exposed to high society very early on and developed a deep-rooted disgust toward the wealthier scions of the Alliance. On his fourteenth birthday, his mother committed suicide and his father blamed young Anthony for driving her to her death. Disowned by his father, Anthony spent the better part of a year on the streets before he came to the attention of a Companion Guild representative; exactly how he was noticed is something he refuses to admit. Accepted into Companion training, Anthony thrived and found something he was particularly good at. His reputation in certain circles climbed. Unfortunately, he never quite felt comfortable with the job and chafed at some of the restrictions. When the Unification War broke out, Anthony resigned from the Guild and enlisted with Alliance Intelligence, becoming a quite effective spy who could lie and seduce his way through most any chain-of-command. It was only near the end of the war that he began to question the morality of what he was doing. Following the defeat of the Browncoats, Anthony remained active with Intelligence for several years until recently when a Burn Notice was issued on him, leaving him with no money, no credit, and no official job history. This forced him to turn to people he knew from the past. Secrets:
