Probably LN not really looking at any prC's cant really think of one that would fit. Human, I presume? Any ideas on his background? Is he a disgraced knight seeking redemption? An arrogant SOB who is just interested in glory? A grim soldier who only knows how to wage war? Does he have a goal or a quest in mind? I generally craft adventures around the characters so I need to have something in mind for him. One of the ex-PCs was a guy named Kheldane (you saw his stats.) Anyway, he had the Leadership feat and had a bunch of followers whom he had sort of inherited from this old paladin guy that the PCs had fought alongside with against the Forces of Evil. Said paladin was really FUBARed and was basically forced to retire. What I was thinking is that your Knight could have been one of those Followers (obviously, the highest-ranking one) who has been awarded Player Character status (and thus, gained a couple of levels in the process.) There was even a Follower who very nearly died fighting a dragon that I could easily retcon into having been you ... does someone have the link to the master page with the Synopsis on it? All of the copies I have are outdated... Easiest way to look at it is by comparing a lot of the stuff to the Middle-Earth stuff. There is an evil demi-god on Oerth (that's the world of Greyhawk city) named Iuz, who is basically a Sauron-like figure. Gondor becomes the nation-state of Furyondy. The greatest city of the world is Greyhawk City, and it's home to the epic-level wizard, Mordenkainen (whom I recently slew). Basically, over a decade ago, Iuz started what becomes called the Greyhawk Wars (which is ironic since the city wasn't ever touched during the war). Think of it as the big war at the beginning of LotR or perhaps the final war in RotK, although Iuz (Sauron) wasn't destroyed or defeated. He was overextended, though, and ultimately agreed to the ceasefire/truce. That was in 584 CY, and the current year is 594 CY. All of the sides knew that war was inevitable and have basically been spending the entire time rearming and readying themselves for another bloody slaughter. Five or six years ago, Furyondy reclaimed some of their captured territory from Iuz. A year ago, there was an incident now called the Flight of Dragons, wherein every Red Dragon in the land seemed to migrate at once and headed east. As to the PCs, they've ranged far and wide. A recurring villain drew their ire and attention, which ultimately led them to capturing a castle called Fortress Arcanis. This basically left them in charge of a quasi nation-state and the characters were understandably (and probably correctly) afraid that if they revealed that the area was no longer under the high-level wizard's rule, it would be the excuse the bordering nations needed to invade which would lead to more bloodshed. For reasons that frankly defy my comprehension, instead of faking their deaths, the party decided to allow word to get out that they had sold their allegiance to the bad guy. Naturally, this has led to their reputation going from Hero to Scum in under 30 seconds. The last adventure ended with the Company discovering an evil artifact that, if used properly, could magically create fiendish adult red dragons.

The in depth synopsis can be found Here, but doesn't include the most recent adventure (wherein the PCs fought some half-dragon bad guys and acquired the evil artifact.)

Karick son of Alfstahn-Lawful Neutral Knight Age 40 I like the stuff already written about Alfweald so I consider that part of my background. I had a wife and 3 children. A group of marauding horsemen killed all but my oldest son who put up a fight and then was severely wounded. He was left for dead but somehow managed to stay alive. The boy is now 20 and lives with his uncle. Karick cared for the boy and is is very proud of him but he cant be around the boy. He reminds him too much of his wife and the pain associated with it. Karick has blackouts and memory losses sometimes but he tries hard too keep it secret because he doesn't want to show weakness. He aspires towards gaining a kingdom of his own though he has a bit of wanderlust in him. He is a hardened warrior bathed in the fires of battle, yet he has incredible patience and compassion for those less fortunate. He has done some horrible things in his past. Things which he is not proud of and will not talk about with anyone but his most trusted confidante.
Hope this is a good enough start.

Karick: Leadership score is currently [13 +5 (Cha Bonus) =18 -1 (Moves Around a Lot) -1 (Recruits cohort of different alignment) = 16. A leadership score of 16 makes you eligible for 25 1st level followers, 2 2nd levels, and 1 3rd level. (Note: Followers begin at 1st level as NPC classes like Warriors or Commoners).
Gilthoron: Leadership score is currently [15 +1 (Cha Bonus) = 16 -1 (Moves Around a Lot) -2 (Animal companion) =13. A leadership score of 13 makes you eligible for 10 1st level followers, and 1 2nd level.
There are EIGHT Human Commoner 1 (Dreth, Edsard, Hela, Ilsa, Morrin, Staarvid, Thurgan, and Welsil) and THREE Human Warrior 2 (Andremel, Belindara, and Jhovar) among the "rescued" individuals willing to follow Sir Karick. There is also ONE elf Expert 2 and TWO elf Warrior 1 (names TBD by elfy name generator) willing to follow Gilthor'n.
