Wisdom is a little more tricky. I want him to be lacking a bit of common sense so I am thinking 8 as well. However since, as far as I know, Wisdom still affect will saves I'm reticent. I don't want him to be cowardly and running in fear because he is failing will saves all the time. I suppose the best option might be to make it 8 and then take a feat like Iron willed to boost the will save. Thoughts?
I mentioned early about taking martial proficiency feat. Scratch that. In pathfinder cleric are proficient in their deities favored weapon.(which is awesome. ;D)

Dropping the WIS to 8 and adding Iron Will would certainly work. Also, as you are dropping the two scores by 5 points, I'll also allow you to increase one of the physical attributes to compensate: ST to 19, CN to 17, or DX to 15, your call.
Raegar is actually a descendant of Kord himself, however so many generations have passed that most of the divine spark is gone. He does,however, have the uncanny ability to perform clerical miracles through strength of body rather than strength of mind.
Orphaned at a young age (father even less bright and attacked a very large red dragon by himself.) Raised by a group of Kordian clerics who attempted to teach him to be one of their own in the traditional manner of study. But Raegar had little interest in books and even less understanding of them.
