Alright, that's what I'll do...
Looking at "Law Dogs" [pg 69]... What does the damage for the US Model 1822 and 1842 damage mean?
Oh, and is 3d6 good enough for guts? Too high? Too low?
Also, are guns legal to carry in town?

They are legal, but if you are bristling with firepower, you might get busted for disturbing the peace.

Oh, and the 1822 and 42 used buck and ball ammo. The first number is added to the second when touching. After that, reduce thw second number based on range.
It similar to a shotgun.

Hmmm if that is the case.... maybe I should do the tracking/ranger-esque stuff if that hasn't already been taken? My character can do a little tracking, but he's pretty far from being The Expert, so if you go that route, it'd be helpful, I think...

Question about using bounty points to boost things:
As far as I can tell in the PHB (pg 148-149), if you buy more than one level of an aptitude or trait it can save you quite a bit of points.
For example: Assume I'd like to raise an aptitude at one time from 1 to 3. From what I can tell, this would cost 3 bounty points. However if you were to raise it one day from 1 to 2, and then later from 2 to 3, the total cost would be 2+3 = 5. Is this the case?

You have to raise them one at a time. So to go from 1 to 3 would cost 5 points.
