If we end up taking the Ship owner and struggling, does ship owner count towards 200 CP total, or is it all completely separate?

@dan. Do McN's enemy and mine work on the same day, or can we alternate. EX: we deal with mine one week, then his the next.
Or, are they the same person...cause then we could just be fighting them all the time. Boom. Instant villian...just add water.

Sent from my Ally using ProBoards It would be a lot easier if they were the same—and I can think of a way to do that, temporarily, at least. Story-wise, though, the two Arches don't really relate. Statistically, they would appear an equal number of times, but given the situation, I think I'm going to actually roll it, rather than arbitrate as I had planned—this way, there may be some longer breaks. Two points: - Both characters are going to be higher-points (at 200/205 vs 150ish); you are allowed to "restructure" a bit, and it would be a good time to reconsider the Enemy situation (especially, given they haven't actually appeared yet)
- It wouldn't hurt for you both—or anyone else that has/takes an Enemy—to give me some ways you'd like to encounter them; I already have a few plans in mind, but I can always use more

Character: Bianfu de Ren Story: "Oh shit, that was a close one!" Bianfu thought to himself, lowering his laser pistol from his line of sight as the body of his pursuer crumpled to the floor - her face now unrecognizable and giving an almost melted rubbery look to it around where the laser hit. "Can't an engineer hijack a ship in peace?" Bianfu continued, taking a breath to recollect himself. He turns around and heads back to the access door he was working on previously that would allow him access to the room to take control of the ship's major functions. Half way down the hall, Bianfu's gate halted, an idea stopping him dead in his tracks. A sly smile grew on the left side of his face, and he returned to where the ship's crew member tried to kill him. "Surely, you have an access card for this room, don't you my dear." Bianfu said to the deceased, knowing she would not be answering - primarily because she no longer had a mouth in which to speak. Being a privateer had been fun, but recently the authorities had been getting closer to catching him and his friends. Luckily, a previous acquaintance, a Mr. Plumbly, had offered him a job with a crew he knew - a ship named the Bad Omen. A perfect way to lie low for awhile. An alarm going off snapped him out of his momentary thought of his future, as he grabbed the crewmate's ID card and returned to the door. A quick swide with the ID card later and the door opened, giving Bianfu access to all the ship's system's through the central computer hub. This ship would make him a good amount of money he could live off of while he laid low. Tossing the ID next to the control panel he glanced at it. "Juliette Marceau, eh? Shoulda kept your head down." Bianfu, chuckled at his own bad joke as the central computer hub responded to his commands. Yeah, this ship, the Sophie, or whatever its name was will do just fine. Good enough?

her face now unrecognizable and giving an almost melted rubbery look to it around where the laser hit. FYI, from Atomic Rocket page:(Since I know you like to "do it right" ) Also: - I presume the name "Bianfu" is Chinese? Weird. How to pronounce properly, I wonder…
- The Bad Omen was the Lady's Grace when Plumbley owned it

Good enough? A little confusing, actually. As is often the case with you, I'm not sure when you've got your tongue firmly in your cheek. The Marceau reference makes no real sense to me, I'm afraid, beyond it being an attempt to tweak me. We know that Julie is alive as of the Chronicles, and Plumbley hasn't been part of our operation for quite a while. Plus, this doesn't really give me an idea about the character's history since it's a single moment in time. So I just don't know what part of it's serious and what part isn't.

Everything there was a joke Rigil I was just giving you a joke character since you were jokingly bumping me asking for the character I had promised. As added fun: Bianfu de Ren is the name google translate gave me when I translated "Batman" from English to Traditional Chinese... The real character will have a full post by itself. Right now I have the story as to why / how he came to possibly join the bad omen and was working on his full backstory when I took a little brain break to give as good as I got here... Hopefully in a few hours it'll be done. I am typing on Shelley's netbook, which slows things down 100 fold as my fat fingers take up the place of three keys...

Quick & Dirty Guide to "Nate Humor":
If it seems like I am trying to 'tweak you' I am joking...
If I was seriously trying to 'tweak you', you'd know.
As an added aside: Bianfu is pronounced (according to google translate) as "Bee-a (short a)-fu"

OK, let me get this straight. The party, as a group, has the following enemies: - Black Omega. A group of telepathic assassins.
- IBM. A megacorp
- A dirty local cop. Easily the least of our troubles
- Mr. Robinson. Who might very well end up being the Illusive Man.
Man, I think we're doomed.

OK, let me get this straight. The party, as a group, has the following enemies: This is something we kinda need to address, as a group—this "Enemy" thing is going to get a bit out of hand; we're going to end up spend more time dealing with these Enemies than whatever-it-is you/I want to accomplish. Not to mention, some of these Enemies have considerable power, enough to shut the team down quite easily, without ever getting shot at. You might be thinking, "But my Enemy is only interested in me, right?" Not so. An Enemy of one PC is an Enemy of the lot of them; otherwise, we have entire Sessions where all but one of you are twiddling their thumbs, watching what happens—which is only fair, since some of the Players didn't ask to be hunted down like dirty, filthy animals. Just so we're clear—I'm not outlawing Enemy as a Disad. However, I do think the group needs to carefully consider the implications, and work something out. Is this going to be fun, or a huge pain in the ass?

Did I forget to mention Zenneth Moss can trace his ancestry back to Dan Aykroyd, and Gozer has sworn a gawd oath of vengeance and to destroy any member of Dan's bloodline? .. So... I guess we can add Gozer to the list of enemies
