This is for my backup character as Ista Wanbli can only live so long since he is cursed with Indian blood in this campaign....
Lloyd Woods
Lloyd Woods lived a somewhat uneventful life. He was born and raised by a family working as cowpokes. Most days were spent on the range, tending to the cattle, and protecting them from threats. While this was a stable job, the existence was very meager, and Lloyd's free spirit bristled under the increasing demands of the rancher.
In his mid 20s, Lloyd finally saved up enough money and decided to head west. For many years, Lloyd traveled from town to town and doing whatever work needed doing in order to keep surviving. Eventually he settled down out in California, married a fine woman named Clementine Verner, and took up prospecting.
As tends to happen, a few years after marriage, Lloyd became a father to three children - Calvin, Mabel, and Isaac. Things went pretty well for many years, until the Great Quake of '68. While the whole family had survived, Clementine knew the Maze was not a place to raise children and pleaded to Lloyd to move further east. With the discovery of ghost rock, Lloyd knew there was a fortune to be made - but family was more important to him than money - so the family packed up and headed out of the Maze.
They finally settled down in Santa Fe, NM, though the brief time in the Maze really sparked Lloyd's interest in the supernatural and he began to read any and all information on the beasts beings discovered he could. Since Sante Fe didn't have much of a profitable prospecting scene, Lloyd decided to take up photography.
As years passed, the kids grew up and moved out to find their own lives, Clementine fell ill of pneumonia and died - leaving Lloyd alone for the first time since he was a young adult - save for his faithful basset hound, Toby. Not as young as he used to be, he knew that if he wanted to experience adventure, time was running short. Strange and magical things were out there - and to Lloyd's chagrin most folks didn't believe in them. Lloyd had found his calling: to hunt down and kill the supernatural, and then photograph them for all to see!
