Potential answer(s) to the issue of timekeeping—since N8 has established a deviation from the more " Medieval/Catholic" system, but wasn't sure what it should be—it seems the " nautical" system would be fitting

If you haven't leveled your character already, do it, and update the Current Party Stats page on the Spreadsheet

After spending some time going through potential items to give out as treasure, I figure it would be easier if our characters post a "wish list" like we have done for other campaigns. So if you have the time, if you could post up to five things your character would like to come across, I'll take that into consideration. Please pick things that are appropriate for 2nd/3rd level characters. Depending on the cost/grandeur of the items, they may show up during a dungeon crawl or during more pivotal plot points (example would be when N8 gave us neat-o stuff after "defeating" the rust monster). This will give you the opportunity to potentially get stuff that you want. There really isn't a deadline when I need this, and participation is optional. Just know, the faster you get it on the boards, the better chance it will show up in game.

You should participate as well, because I will likely look at this list as well when I start filling in the blanks for my run. - Magical ring (something other than Prot +1 since my AC is fine)
- Some sort of nifty Holy Symbol that might set him on the path toward paladinhood.
- Handy Haversack.
- Helm of Comprehend Languages (this is probably stretching it.)
- Some sort of magical item that improves my Will save.

- Something to bump Wisdom
- Amulet of Health
- Something to bump Charisma
- Healing belt

Kind of a dumb question but what is the plural form for dwarf? Is it dwarves or dwarfs? I've tried looking it up but I can't get a straight answer. Usually if I can't getv straight answer then that means both are acceptable, but I figured I would ask to make sure.

As mentioned in my Critics Corner review, since I didn't like my on the fly answer that Ilde gave regarding information about her son, I will supply more information here. Since this is what I should have told you in the first place, I will answer followup questions if needed.
Ilde will tell you that she and Fissure were never had a close relationship. He grew up never knowing his father, and during his early years he was essentially brought up by his aunt (Ilde’s sister) while Ilde was on active duty. She regrets that it was during those years that she never instilled the love of their family’s craft, and Fissure was pretty much left to his own devices. It was never a lack of love, but a lack of understanding because she could never relate to her son. Now that he has gotten older, Ilde can see the error of her ways and was working on rehabilitating their relationship. That is when Fissure got it into his head that he wanted to start adventuring in order to see where he belonged in the world. Ilde fears that she will never see him again because he’s probably going to get himself killed if he goes out in the world on his own. So they essentially had a big fight about it, which caused Fissure to take off and hasn’t showed up in the last two weeks.
Another thing that I forgot to mention is that sometime during your bog trek, Oleander will inform Maia that the party is being followed, though he cannot determine who and/or what, because they are like shadow. As of right now, Maia can feel that he isn't afraid or nervous, but more curious than anything. Though you have to take that with a grain of salt because he's a raven, and therefore curious about everything.

Did she (Ilde) mention who Fissure's dad was?

Did she (Ilde) mention who Fissure's dad was? I am assuming this is out of character, if not then let me know, and I can give you an in character response. No, she didn't mention who Fissure's father was.

It was mostly in-character. I figure it was just an offhand remark like "And his father?" to which she could just as easily state "He's dead." or "His father is not a factor in Fissure's life." Or something simple.

Or something simple. In character, her response would be that she becomes visibly agitated and says something the the effect of, "If my own son doesn't know who his father is, then why should I divulge that information to you? The fact of the matter is that he was never there for him in the past, nor will he ever be there for him in the future."

"I meant no disrespect, madame. Until this moment, I knew not that your son was ignorant of his father's identity. I had thought perhaps he might seek his sire out ... but that is evidently not the case."

" ::deep sigh:: Your notion is not without merit. I apologize for my response. However, if he were searching for his father, it is in the entirely opposite direction. No, I suspect he is following whatever new hare brained notion that causes him to wander. Come this way, and let us speak no more of it."

Just posting this as a heads up but Friday's session might be short. My original plan was to wrap up the Dwarves on week three and then do a "one shot" in Kingsport on week 4 so I can better define some characters. Since I now have split up session three over two sessions then there might not be enough content to fill out a full session. I guess it all depends on what you guys do in game. I am going to try to fill it out a bit, but I guess I am not feeling very inspired this week. Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

He will have to confirm, but I thought it was the same as a Pearl of PowerWe also have a couple of loot items that previous LabRat will need to identify. Whether the PCs know what they are is up to her (or me, I guess.)
