the descriptions were a bit of an exageration...
Rigil - zombie expert (actor in zombie movie) Labrat - Sarah Palin (Alaskan Outdoorswoman) TDB - Good ol' boy redneck (outdoorsmans)
Not trying to shoehorn someone into something, was just making a generalized comment in reference to what info had been provided

My dude is far from a zombie expert (though it would be kind of amusing if everyone assumed he was cause he was in a movie.) And I'd reclassify LabRat's concept as "Alaskan outdoorswoman" ...

My general concept: A physics professor at the local community college who also is a " Doomsday Prepper" (though I think I'll have him prepping for the wrong one, maybe for a second American Revolution?)... I took inspiration from Giger's "Jamie" idea, the show "Colony" and "Doomsday Preppers" and the Unabomber (though a much less crazy version).... As for the actor, Leoben from BSG strikes my fancy for that borderline crazy/brilliant personality

I like it, now if I could figure out how to apply it, and where I get it

I like it, now if I could figure out how to apply it, and where I get it Have to apply it manually—it's not in GCA. I reformatted it a bit, so it's a little easier to follow.

Will get as much of this applied this week, and should have the character squared away by Wednesday or Thursday

For those that haven't seen it, or forgot about it, Kromm's List of Essential Adventuring SkillsWe discussed the characters' home-towns last Friday. Currently we have: - Cromartie=LA
- Ann=Kansas (specifics?)/Alaska
- Nick=Iowa/Ohio or S.Carolina?
- Wes=Somewhere-in-the-South?
Need to nail this down beforehand—it will be important to determining where folk might be headed once they realize it's all over, and will affect where any family members might be located. We discussed "timelines" on Friday. If you do a proper timeline and/or background, it's +5 CP. You should include: - Birth
- Higher Education
- Career(s)
- Audition for the show (date?)
- Filming of After the End begins 23 Feb 13
- Trapped in LOB on afternoon, Tue, 26 Mar 13
If you need some help, just look at your skills and ask yourself where/when did this get acquired? Also, those whose characters are participants in the show (as opposed to crew), take a look at the "cast" from The Colony and figure out how your character would fit in—what would his blurb say?
