- That's the rumor
- I'd say that if you saw one in a gun store, you'd notice it—like when I saw some Kris SMGs at H&H
- I'll sort that out, then
- Understood
- That was just an FYI, for all concerned
Side note: I noticed nobody but AJ has Freight Handling, including the (on paper) current Loadmaster (Calista)—I figure Tulk should have it, at least (assuming he still has a point or two to spare).

May decide to have Calista snatch up the screamer (?) gun then.... sounds like it'd be fun to toy with

1-Sounds like a something Tulk would handle.
2-Agreed.
5-You said something about the thugs bypassing our security to get in. If they used something, what was it? I would also like to acquire one of the screamers if more than one, if only one let Calista have it. Would also make a quick search of the them to see what they might have of value or of interest.

I don't think we ever settled on who took possession of the wind-up screamer they picked up in the previous campaign. Speaking of which, my old notes say it was a Screamer Pistol, w/ "+2d/ready action, max 6d"

I think I forgot - did we get info as to where the blue neptune was headed given the solid streetwise check Calista and Zennith got in the hangars?

I think I forgot - did we get info as to where the blue neptune was headed given the solid streetwise check Calista and Zennith got in the hangars? Knowing where they were going would require them to file a flight plan, which may not have been done or done "honestly"—and given the nature of their departure… (Of course, that doesn't make it impossible, just more difficult)

No "Mars or Bust" stickers on the ship?

A couple of things for this week you can maybe start thinking about ahead of time: - We added Locations, with Faces, to the station; now I want to do Aspects (which I'll have to remind myself how it works)
- If we don't need the Time Use thing sorted this week, we probably will on the next
- Will probably need to retroactively (over the prior couple of days) deal with JoJo's accommodations
No "Mars or Bust" stickers on the ship? So, a bit of behind-the-scenes: (As you may have guessed) this part wasn't really meant to go anywhere; just a set-up. As I'm getting back in the saddle here, I'm realizing there is a certain amount of information I really need to work out ahead of time for situations like this, to at least provide the illusion of depth. That said, I'd like for the players to be able to say, "I want this to be a thing," and/or figure out how to get across the idea that, "This thread doesn't actually go anywhere," without getting too meta. (Same sort of issue we've discussed with the Saturday group before about how to communicate between GM/player whether or not we want to roleplay the ordering of drinks at the tavern, or just push the "sleep" button and fast-forward to morning. I don't think we really found a satisfactory answer.)

This week, we've got a surprise (not really) customs inspection, getting under way, and probably reaching the destination—maybe into the mission proper. Some stuff for this week: - Everyone should be thinking of a short-term goal of some kind that the characters are working toward, outside of the business operation; this will help sort out what they're doing when they're at home—doesn't need to be complicated, and could be the "obvious" choice based on your background (I just don't want to decide for you)
- @n8/ShLE: I need to know (maybe not immediately) what conditions are required for them to finally make their move on their frozen account
- This trip is expected to take ~2 weeks—may affect arrangements at home, and may warrant separate consideration of what the characters will be doing with their down-time aboard the ship
Also, I need a Secret roll for Tulk for this week—forgot to do that before we left last time

Short-term goal for AJ: He is waiting to hear back from ... someone (TBD) about an inquiry into Mishka's travels. Since I've already established the idea that I'd like AJ to start cultivating contacts with law enforcement (as the "good guy" in the group who isn't a smuggler or criminal or married to a criminal/smuggler or cheaty mccheaterson), it seems logical to presume he made some inquiries with ... Helene System port authorities, maybe?

Damn a ten again Secrets are 6 or less, so you're okay. We should probably figure out how we're going to deal with the impending Customs thing. I expect that the Unit guys will hide in either the smuggling compartments of the habitation module or go into vacuum, but when interacting with the actual Customs people, we're going to need a story. I'm thinking that Tulk should spin a tale about us getting hired by the Unit guys (so acknowledge that yes, we did briefly interact with them) but that we've not seen these guys since, thus indicating that the Unit guys clearly hired us to act as a diversion. If possible, we could have Tulk hint that he may have followed up on them and identified that they already left in another ship. A ship that is running under the name Blue Neptune, perhaps? However, since we got paid to fly to a certain point in space, then come back, we have to do what we agreed to do. Thoughts?

- It occurs to me that Zennith's "short-term goal" should probably be related to whatever invention/engineering-project he's working on now—which is what?
- Tulk's eavesdropping on the passengers' initial briefing will reveal a couple of clues: numerous references to the "Secretary General" suggest they are actually Confederate military; numerous references to a "leak" in "the Unit"; those references together suggest "black ops," which would most-likely refer to 1st SOG Teams (think SEALs+Delta Force)

Anything you need from us to make the game awesome? Can't think of anything specific to this week, but here's an Idea bin thread if you want to start dumping ideas somewhere—I can always use more of that. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give a thought to what sort of adventure/mini-arc you want to do next, as this one will wrap within a session or two.

Oh. Yeah. That could be interesting. Maybe Calista talks Bella into helping (since Bella is a social engineer), and then Bella gets in trouble, which leads AJ into getting involved. We could even start it in media res, with Bella imperiled with the rest of the team scattered. Then we do a flashback and get ourselves to that point.

Yeah, well we never established what exactly it would take for the Moss' to trust the crew enough. Just had an idea that I think will work for the bank issue: treat it like a Dependent/Ally/Enemy/Contact/etc. and give it a per-adventure Frequency of Appearance to represent when the "opportunity knocks." Either 6 (~1:4) or 9 (~50/50), I'm thinking.

Or, for simplicity, have the next arc skip forward a couple of weeks and let there be a Noodle Incident of some sort that allows the Moss to trust the crew enough. Or, perhaps even better, they learn that Something Is About To Happen that would result in their monies going away entirely, so they've got to move NOW, regardless of whether they trust the other PCs or not...
