I've been thinking a lot about what I need to do for chapter 3 of Kingmaker and since it is so quiet, I want to see what y'all think about something:
Due to this adventure path being very "sandbox", there is no predefined town layouts from the module. So as the GM, I can either define how a given town (ie Tatzlford, Svetlanagrad, etc) is laid out, how it looks, the buildings in there (well, the players define what is built their through their decisions - like how y'all just built a castle, but really where they are in the town is ambiguous), etc or I can let y'all do it.
So, two questions:
1. Do you want actual maps of your major settlements and buildings (ie, Tyg's Landing, Shieldland's Castle (unsure of the name?), etc) or leave them ambiguous? 2. If you'd like them defined: would you as players like to define these areas and have someone create them or would you prefer I just make them up?

Whether or not we have a map-layout, we at least need an Establishing Shot for them. And yeah, we'll fill in what the GM leaves open.

Depends entirely on you - having maps of the settlements would be nice but are extra work for you, so you could just punt that to someone who likes to do that kind of thing. Since Giger is on a medieval bent right now due to him likely running his take on Generica for the Saturday group, I'd say have him do it unless LabRat really wants to. As to the castle, I believe it is (using the proper parlance) "Fort Voronkov."
