So, I figured it might be a good idea to create a Party thread. Herein, we can bash out plans and the like without it bogging down the actual game. We were supposed to do something about a "shopping list." What do we need? - We do need healing potions/stuff rather badly, and maybe some to restore "fatigue" (subdual damage)
- We've got pretty much all the weaponry we need for the moment
- A pack horse might not go amiss, although it could slow us down a bit (but then, so would a butt-load of slightly-used weapons)
- The inevitable Bag(s) of Holding
- Endure Elements(or similar)-enchanted item(s) of whatever sort
- Offload whatever junk we're not (planning to be) using

Well I guess nobody thought about buying any cure potions. Seeing we knew that there was not going to be a cleric in the group . I did buy myself several . So I am all good. A bag of holding would be good, can any of us afford one. What do we have to offload? How will the split go? Tom can you pm me to let me know what the local druid has to sell? And what his rank as a druid in the area, what his knowledge of the local area is,any information that might help?

A tactical idea:
I propose that everyone in the party acquire and carry a Spear or Longspear (or equivalent weapon)...they don't weigh too much, and both are Simple Weapons, so anyone can use them. This way, if/when we run into a mass-charge situation we can all "set for charge" against them. Those not intending to fight on the front line would have the Longspears, so they can contribute to the effect from the secondary position. This also gives those folk an option when they don't want to use spells or ranged weapons. By forming a spear-wall, we'll either inflict massive damage on the charging enemy or discourage them from charging altogether.
Also, I updated the "team roster." Fix it if it needs fixing.

I propose a modification to the current group name...Fellowship of Fire and Steel. Covers what we do more completely, I think. What say you all? ;D

Eh. I don't like it as well 'cause it doesn't flow off the tongue as easily...

Maybe League of Fire and Steel...that rolls a bit better...and fewer syllables. ;D

Blech. I like the Fellowship of Steel ... obviously, I'm biased since it was primarily my idea but I still prefer just FoS...

Yeah, but there're only two of us in the party that have anything to do with "steel." Everyone else is a caster. Just doesn't seem right. Surely, we can do better (assuming anyone else actually chimes in : .

Normally, the "company" can take it's name in a few ways: either by a symbol or standard adopted by the group, by which it becomes associated (Order of St.John, Compagnie of the Black Swan), or from the entity who "commissioned" the group in the first place, or an "act" (ficticious or otherwise) the group becomes known by (Order of the Garter).
No doubt, the name of the group will have been something developed in our past adventures. What would our "symbol" be? How was the group formed? Have we done something notable, previously?

Fellowship Of the Lion and Steel ;D or perhaps Fellowship of Wood and Steel. A good symbol would be a lion up front with two swords crossed in the background with red as the background color

A Lion's good...don't know about Steel and Lion, though...doesn't roll off the tongue, either.
Ha! The "legend" could be that we took the name, Company/Brotherhood/Fellowship/League of the Red (or [insert color here]) Lion, because that was the sign(name) of the tavern, where we met and established the group, visible just outside the window next to where we sat. ;D

Why does the name of the adventuring keep changing? It's the Fellowship of Steel (or the Steel Fellowship) yet everytime I click in here, it's changed to something different?

It's because we keep wanting to come up with a better name, but we never really come to any conclusions, because nobody gives a crap .

Actually, it seems like one person keeps wanting to come up with a "better" name. *Looks in the direction of Gigermann*. I was perfectly fine with Fellowship of Steel...
But whatever.

I agree with Rigil . Lets go with Fellowship of Steel. Seeing how only three of US will even discuss it! So majority rules 2 to 1 .
