Dr. Felix duBois was raised in a upper middle class family by well educated parents who encouraged him to pursue his passion in medicine. While he was an outstanding student, he struggled to pass the ethics portion of his medical license exams, but after passing quickly rose up the ranks as a resident. He already had quite the successful medical career when he was recruited by the DGSE. They'd learned that he had a history of using questionable practices and procedures on elderly patients who were already in ill health and used that knowledge for additional leverage to recruit him. With their evidence hanging over him it was a simple decision to go into professional, governmental network. To his surprise, you very much enjoyed it and was good at it, and for the first time in his life he found that he was caring about something other than yourself or playing the piano.
He may have changed, but the governmental blackmail didn't, and he's been shuttled around on any number of missions. Dr. Felix duBois welcomed and applauded the challenge. He dreams of a time that his work leads him to actually care with all your heart and soul about another creature, but it hasn't happened yet. He's currently with a superb UN anti-terrorist team who has mostly welcomed him. So far, he is fairly sure this pleases him.
3 Trust: Nadya Ayres. Full of passion and vigor in a way that is completely alien to Dr. Felix duBois but also easy to direct and manipulate. He's had several dreams of extracting her brain and seeing how exactly it works, then using that to cure himself.
1 Trust: Charles Cross. Generally likable. A smooth operator he wears as many masks as possible and is probably hiding a similar sociopathy that Dr. Felix has.
0 Trust: Bradley Wayne Battle. Recruited Dr. Felix for his most recent missions and likely knows about his past incidents with patients. Useful for keeping Dr. Felix employed now, but not to be trusted.
