Its a demon. It can teleport without error at will. I don't know then... a demon snack strategically placed under an anti-magic cardboard box being held up by a stick tied to a string?

Hit it hard, hit it often, and hit it with fire.
Does your bard have any fire-based offensive spells? If not, I could give him the wand of fireballs Mazrim is carrying...

No he doesn't, though I would gladly take a wand of fireballs... or I could always use my rod of wonder My current plan is the same as the old plan... Haste -> Inspire Courage -> -> Profit After we get back to a city though I have some purchases I need to make and come level 12, Moohkah will be almost doubly as useful

So assuming we knew where this guy was using the Rod of Detection...
So we'd know where in the water he was... No one was willing to go in the water after him, he has concealment, ranged will essentially be useless, and any spell we do will require a check to get to him... would it of really changed things?

He could have been on the ceiling, for all we knew—much of our hesitation was based on not knowing. If we had known where he was, we could have made an informed decision about how to proceed, rather than lingering there to use up a few more of Malinza's healing spells

Factor in the limited range - 60' - and the fact that Project Image can be cast from well over 100' away and it isn't quite as useful as we'd think.

Hope I didn't overstep, but I added a new page to the resources file called 'Loot Value' and went through cataloging how much everything on 'Party Loot' was worth for easy selling once we get back into a town so we don't have to go digging through books and whatnot trying to price each item

That's what it's for. [Edit: Clearly, that's what you meant ]

Alright folks... we need to decide who all is carrying what so we don't have the issues we had last week... Weapons- +1 Wounding Warclaw -> Are you carrying this Daniel?
- MW Silver Dagger x2
- +2 Flaming Burst Macuahuitl
- Dagger +1 x2
- +1 Comp Lngb [+2] (Sor) x2
- Arrows x110
- Comp Lngbow [+3] x18
- MW Macuahuitl x13
- Cmp Lngbow [+2]
- Vials of Poison x26
Armor- MW Lt Wooden Shield x18
- +1 Hvy Steel Shield
- Studded Leather +3, Large x3
Magic Equipment- Ring of Protection +1 x5
- Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds x2 -> Malinza has these right?
- Decanter of Endless Water
- Necklace of Adaptation
- Potion of Blur
- Potion of Resist Acid 10
- Rod of Enemy Detection
I'm assuming all of our trade goods are in the Portable Hole being carried by Ogg, correct? Also, if something on these lists should be in the portable hole just say so and that way we can update the spreadsheet so we know exactly where things are instead of arguing about who's carrying what

My thoughts: - All weapons and armor go into the portable hole with the exception of anything people want for backups
- Rings of protect +1 go into the hole
- Malinza/Ferdy/ShimShim carries the Cure Mod (if we decide if familiars can use wands)
- Maybe one of the two fighters should have the potion of Blur for the 20% miss chance
- Mazrim should carry the rod of Enemy Detection
Of these, the only thing Moohkah wouldn't mind having is the Necklace of Adaptation - I think everyone else has their Neck slot used up... I don't... thoughts?

I say go for it if you slot isn't taken. There really hasn't been much in the plunder so far that you could take anyway. And we've been discussing in the past who should take it. Between Jocelyn and Ogg, I don't really care who has the potion of Blur (though an enemy taking a % miss chance due to a blurry Ogre is rather funny to me). So if Ogg doesn't want it then I'll take it, if he does then no biggie. Thanks for getting us organized. I think this will help in the long run.

It's really just a matter of who's holding it—the one has easy access, but the other can get it if needed.

True, in that case Jocelyn can hold it and that way she can pretend she's being useful

My recommendation for this week is simple: get back to the "Miss Adventure," then spend a day or so celebrating with the crew our success over the Aspect of Demogorgon - I figure Mazrim can use that 1/week create pavilion & food from the Rod of Splendor and we can all feast and be merry. Then we head back to Farshore and the inevitable "While you were away..." scene that leads into the next adventure.

Well we do have some backtracking to do to fully search out some rooms and treasure we bypassed... I figured we can take our time and 'take 20' while going through these rooms... We should also take a rest so we can all actually level when we wake up... Then what Rigil said... back home for the group... where nothing could have possibly gone wrong... ever...!

And there might potentially be some skinwalker stragglers who need to be put down for the greater good ... not to mention that tiefling guy who we didn't see again after Turgon nearly killed him with the surprise attack. Mazrim would also like to destroy any of the representations of Demogorgon scattered around the island - I figure that with two of his feats being clear anti-outsider types, he really doesn't like demons (and devils and yugoloths), so obliterating the statues we've seen is a great idea.

Is it safe to assume if the Wraisthlith was in the area with the croc and they didn't attack each other they were likely allied to a point? We could always burn the island to the ground and figure it out from there

We could always burn the island to the ground and figure it out from there We were told that it existed (and confirmed, from the air), but that's pretty much all. We would be making an assumption to say that it "works with" the Wastrilith in any way. We'll just have to find it and see for ourselves whether it needs to be put down.

Another thought: We got the Trident of Fish Command which, according to the SRD:Sounds like a good solution for solving the gator problem? This way we don't have to burn a spell... and we may even be able to charm it... and we could give it to Turgon or someone who desperately needs to keep the gator away from them!

Anyone want to take bets as to when the GM posts XP?
So, Turgon tried (and failed) to kill the tiefling, an armcry has been raised regarding an assassin (poor Turgon), Mazrim browbeat Galadin and was not angry since he came to the Isle until this very moment, and we're set to sail when the tide turns.
What's our plan? As much as I like kicking in the door and killing everything, I doubt it's going to be that easy and we no longer have our social operator (the bard.) If possible, I'd like to avoid actually entering the city with the ship - lets find a spot to secure it and then a small group (conveniently enough, the actual PCs!) sneak in and try to find A) Lavinia and B) the Ravens.
Thoughts?
