Some powers you could upgrade, depending on what you wanted to do. For example, you could potentially add an enhancement of some sort to an already existing power, or if you happened to want to pick up a new power that doesn't cost more than two points, you could do so. Skills do in fact cost 1 PP per rank.
What do you want? Approach it from that angle and we'll find some way to make it work,

Alright... so here is what I am working with... I am trying to rearrange my powers a little bit to be more in the realm of severe storms as opposed to the generic 'weather'... makes sense since I am a storm chaser as well as one of the team's blasters to have more attack and less defense.... By rearranging some things I have 46pp left to get my major power done... So here is what I would want Weather Control 10 - Cold (Extreme) [selective attack] - Alternate Power: Element Control 10[selective] - Air
- Alternate Power: Obscure 10[selective] - Driving Rain (visual)
- Alternate Power: Weather Control 10[selective attack] - heat (extreme)
- Alternate Power: Blast 10 [autofire] - Lightning | Linked [not separable]: Dazzle 10 - Thunder
- Alternate Power: Blast 10 [penetrating] - Hail
Is this possible to do? What do i need to do to make this 'legal'

Random Thought: CHA 10? No wonder he was a failure on TV. He's boring. He was never *ON* TV... he was employed as a stormchaser... not as a TV Meteorologist... there is a difference I don't recall adding "Evasion, Master Plan, Move-By-Action" on there. Is that new? Yeah, I added those... put all saves (fort/refl/will) at +7... I only need 7 pp for skills so I should be solid... On a side note, any particular reason why I was given Equipment 1?

I didn't mean to come off with the 'slacker' mentality... he has a job and whatnot now... its just that priorities have changes now that a whole species is on your shoulders... If you'd like I think master plan works better for Legionary anyway... I can figure out something else to spend pp on ;D

I blame the slacker thing on the pic ... so its all Gigermann's fault. Its up to you. I actually think it'd be hilarious to see a slacker super hero whose always getting chastised by the voices in his head for not trying hard enough. "You missed the training exercise, StormSurge." "I wouldn't say that I missed it, Bob." Unrelated, how much of the convo between Legionary & Centurion did Catalyst and StormSurge overhear? I'm curious about how much they've pieced together about Legionary's history...

Technically we were right there... and we both rolled in the mid 20s for our checks... so we could potentially know he is your father... since you did say it in no uncertain terms... but I am more than willing to let it pass by unnoticed in the heat of battle that it was something said internally in your suit and not over the intercomms... depends what you want...

Since both of you rolled really high, and both characters have significantly above-average IQs, then just presuming that you didn't hear it and didn't put two and two together is a disservice to Catalyst & StormSurge. Mostly, I'm curious how the two characters will respond to this revelation. Do they just shrug and let it slide? Do they try to discreetly corner him and pepper him with questions? Do they just sit on the secret until some other time? We need DRAMA!

Do they just sit on the secret until some other time? We need DRAMA! Well as far as StormSurge is concerned, this isn't a huge deal to him... as it is a personal matter between Legionary and Centurion... it is none of his business and will by and large ignore it... though depending on how things go, if Legionary pushes a bit too hard on StormSurge [perceived or in reality] he may lose his temper/confront him about it and be like "I may be doing/not doing xyz... but what about you not being honest about your father, etc etc"... or if they get "closer" he may ask sometime as unobtrusively as possible... StormSurge just really isn't interested much in 'drama' as he has so much in his own life right now there isn't much place for other peoples Shelley will need to decide what to do with Catalyst...

Right now Catalyst is going to 'actively' sit on it. Meaning she's not going to let Legionary know everything she heard but she is probably going to investigate the matter a bit further, just because she's nosy due to her inquisitive nature (Nate quit laughing ). Depending on what she finds (if anything) she might be discretely vocal about it...it depends on the situation. Right now she's keeping quiet though. I would think Catalyst could fill this role. She's not too comfortable with the idea of being a superhero besides trying to figure out why what happened did. She may not be whiny about it, but she is a scientist and as far as she's concerned this is cutting into her work. Right now she just feels uncomfortable in her own skin (which is kinda funny considering she could turn into a snuggie if she really wanted to). She is more of a behind the scenes person and would much rather sit in a lab and cure cancer than take an active role in fighting crime. She just needs to get use to her situation...but that might take some time.

StormSurge just goes home each night... locks himself in his shed and plays "Crawling" while writing really bad poetry... Though I agree.. and it may come to that frustration boiling over as it gets harder and harder to balance Qat'el, Trish, and Superherodom

And then, of course, in true comics fashion, Trish will be infected/subsumed/controlled by the sole surviving Arch-Enemy of the Qat'el (see: Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris) as example) so you'll have epic duels in the sky.
