Joker:
Kin- you have an annoying relative who crops up from time to time
Born in 1850 to a prostitute, Lily never knew her father. She grew up in one of the cathouses with her mother until the age of 8. It was at that time Lily’s mother was shot and killed by a jilted lover of one of her clients. Lily would have been sent to one of the orphanages if it weren’t for the owner, Madam Pearl, taking pity on her. Lily spent the next six years doing odd jobs around the establishment, and was frequently being passed around by the ladies working there who viewed her more as a pet or a poppet than an orphaned child. It was during those six years that Lily first learned the nuances of flirting, social decorum, and subtle persuasion from the interaction between the ladies of the house and their clients.
When Lily turned fourteen Madam Pearl knew she would soon have a problem on her hands. Lily was turning into a pretty young lady and soon her clients would stop thinking of Lily as the adorable child who offered to take their coat and hats and start thinking of her more as a near-future business transaction. Madam Pearl considered Lily more as a surrogate child and decided to get her a job working at the local theatre. However, the situation didn’t prove to be much better once it was realized that Lily was the only female stagehand who wasn’t an actor. Luckily the men were the good hearted, rowdy sort who took Lily under their wings and taught her everything they knew. Unfortunately it mostly centered on drinking, gambling, and shooting. Lily spent the next two years working as a stagehand and prop manager. Soon she would be cast in minor roles as an extra. During that time she befriended Todd Pierce who was the resident pianist for the theatre. Todd worked with Lily after hours giving her voice and acting lessons for a small fee. Lily’s big break came when the leading lady of the stage, Miss Eliza Winborne, injured her ankle during rehearsal. Open auditions were held to fill the part and Lily was selected after auditions were concluded. Critics gave her moderately positive praise which gave her more opportunities for big roles. Soon she was one of the leading actresses in the area.
When she's not performing she has the ability to get information for people who are willing pay for it. The culmination of skills she has learned over the years makes her appear charming and delightful company. She has the ability to gather information during social settings usually by getting the target drunk and having them spill their secrets. From getting political intel to finding out where a worried wife’s husband goes at night, Lily is able to find to the answers to a lot of questions. However, it does cost a pretty penny.
