-7800gp to add flaming to Lord Buford's falchion.
*+30% enchantment fees from here out... (unless echantment or magic item is created by PCs, at which point there is the XP cost).

Mark, Question regarding why the enhancement flaming would cost 7,800gp - when the normal market value to buy a +1 flaming falchion is 8375gp while the cost for +1 Falchion is 2375gp. The difference between the 2 is 6000gp which is already more than what the construction cost would be if we did it ourselves. The 6000gp is paying someone else to enhance the +1 falchion with flaming.

Creation cost for +1 Flaming weapon: 8000 Cost of same weapon now with 30% markup: 10400 What you payed for current weapon: 9800 It would be the same if you had increase the enchantment to just +2. Unless someone in the party is creating or performing the enhancements all magic items will be marked up an additional 30%. If a PC creates the item then you can pay cost, AND xp. Does that answer your question?

So we will not be going by the market value out of the pathfinder book then... Basically yes. From here out there is a 30% increase from market value on magic items. NOTE: The cost for magic weapons and armor from the book IS the creation cost as well, so you are getting off like bandits anyway.

Looking at the Pathfinder Book - (Mark I am not trying to be a pain but simply wanting to understand the increase in the price.) - at page 120 -
Craft Magic Arms and Armor (Item Creation)
Benefit: You can create magic weapons, armor, or shields. Enhancing a weapon, suit of armor, or shield takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in the price of its magical features. To enhance a weapon, suit of armor, or shield, you must use up raw materials costing half of this total price. See the magic item creation rules in Chapter 15 for more information. The weapon, armor, or shield to be enhanced must be a masterwork item that you provide. Its cost is not included in the above cost.
For Instance if I wanted to make a MW Full Plate into a +1 via Item creation feat it would cost 500gp (half of total price which is 1000gp) in raw materials and 1 day of production. This is if we decide to make it ourselves, but when we pay someone else to do it we pay full price of 1,000gp
Item Creation Feat Cost - 500gp - 1day Pay someone else to do it 1000gp (double what it would cost if we did it ourselves) Now with an additional 30% cost increase - 1,300gp
If I am not reading the book correctly please let me know I am confused.

To help curb the unrest of +2 - I would recommend a festival in which the Robe of Vermin is pubicly destroyed by one of our cities temples\priests\clerics, etc...

Mark at one point we got some vials of venom from a giant centiepede - what kind of venom should I list it as in Hero Lab

The closest match I can find is: Terinav root, (the DC of the centipede poison is 13 not 16, and its effect is instantaneous (upon injury)).

If I am not reading the book correctly please let me know I am confused. Economics... Merchants want more for their stuff (especially when those 'merchants' cast spells)... tell me why a SmartCar, that takes half the material to make, costs more than my MiniVan... answer that one...
