If you have a wand with a touch attack spell say shocking grasp. Is it still a touch attack with the wand? With no attacks of opportunity And Rigil it sure didn't take you long to see the butt monkey ::)Did Daniel tell you or what

Doesn't using a wand provoke an attack of opportunity? I would say that all of the rules that would normally apply to the spell apply to this, plus any rules that apply to using a wand. So: - If the spell is touch attack normally, the wand spell is touch attack.
- If the spell doesn't provoke an AoO, then neither does the wand spell.
- If using a wand provokes an AoO, then voila...

According to Mike, a touch spell doesn't provoke an opportunity attack. Casting does.
On page 141 of the players guide, it says that "you can take your move before casting the spell, after touching the target, or between touching and casting."
So casting from a wand does, but a touch attack doesn't

The way it looks to me now is that it does not provoke AoO In the GMs guide pg 245 it states that to activate a wand is a standard action which does not provoke an AoO. And on pg 141 of the players it does state that a touch attack does not provoke an AoO. So good that is settled Thanks
