Pity none of you have read (and enjoyed) the Dresden series cause I would love to play in that setting ... Hey, I've read most of the series and LOVED it. I am part of the Dresden fan club! ::pulls out sash, puts it on::

Really? Cool! How far along in it have you gotten? The newest one - Cold Days - came out a couple of weeks ago and was really good.

I've gotten to Small Favor (that's what...like 9 or 10), but then I've been having a devil of a time finding the opportunity to read. I've been trying to finish Outlander since Christmas break.

I've been trying to finish Outlander since Christmas break. How far in are you? Been so long, I wonder how much of it I really remember.

I've gotten to Small Favor (that's what...like 9 or 10) 10, I think. Let's see ... Turn Coat is after that and then Changes (which is, hands-down, my favorite book of the series), then Ghost Story and finally Cold Days. So you're pretty close to getting near the end. There is also a compilation of short stories called "Side Jobs" which is fairly hit or miss but some of the events in those shorts are later referenced. There's a story in it from Thomas' POV which I think is one of my favorites...

Looks really interesting. I'll have to give them a read sometime. I project I will have an hour of free time in 4 years, 127 days and 3 minutes
