Also who is running next? Is it me? We also have Xeno wanting to run some Star Trek and McN starting to set up Little Keep on the Boarderlands, and then Rigil wanting to run...something? Just didn't know how much time I had or who (if anyone) wanted to go next.

Preston's really wanting to run the Trek stuff, so he might be glad to step in next. McN's probably out for the time being. Rigil's not got anything in mind at the moment, I think.
Were you decided on SW? I was gonna go ahead and get a Category set up for you here. You might also give a thought to whether or not you'll need some space on the Wiki, or start an Obsidian Portal.

I am also available to run something. Honestly, I can run whatever system/genre the group wants... western (weird or otherwise), modern contemporary/spies, 1930-40s Noir/Pulp fiction, Land of the Lost, WWII/Weird War II, Night's Black Agents (The Dracula Dossier), something in FATE, you name it...

Nope, I'm still looking at systems. And I will definitely do an Obsidian Portal as there will be a lot of NPCs/locations that we will need to keep track of.

Having spoken with Preston last night, this does seem like the case. Though, mayhaps he should speak up... hint, hint, nudge, nudge...

Rigil's not got anything in mind at the moment, I think. I have been toying with something based heavily on this article, my rewatching of the Expanse series on Sci-Fi, and the Traveller-verse. I haven't made an official decision yet, but I am thinking about spinning up a proposal for a GURPS: Traveller game that amounts to "Miami Vice ... in space" where the PCs are recruited by agents of the Count of Porozlo to help him clean up crime and smuggling and that sort of mess in-system by ... being criminals with badges. Obviously, the problem therein is that since it's sci-fi, it sort of rubs up against Xeno's intended Trek game but if the interest is there, I could start work on it with an eye toward making sure it doesn't hinge on all players being present at all times (which is principally the big problem with Red Sky ... note that I am not casting shade at anyone as I'm aware that shit happens.)

"Miami Vice ... in space" What's Miami Vice?

"Miami Vice ... in space" Support this 1000%. I was a huge Miami Vicefan growing up as a kid. Every Friday night my family would order pizza and watch Miami Vice and the newest TNG episode, so yeah, big part of my childhood was growing up watching Crockett and Tubbs. Nash Bridges was also one of my favorites. I'm only mentioning it because having a '71 Hemi Cuda in space would be uh-mazing

As far as I know its currently Xeno -> Rigil/Labrat -> Labrat/Rigil -> ??
So probably at the '??'... Unless Rigil/Labrat needs more time... then I'll probably do Kingmaker Chapter 4 after that... I won't be able to start before June 2019 though.

I won't be able to start before June 2019 though. Well if Xeno is going to run ~12 sessions, that would put us around the first of December-ish and the Christmas crazies. I would like to start to run in early January if at all possible, because then my holiday soaping season would be over and I would have more time to devote to the campaign. If Rigil is itching to run, then I don't mind going after him. Right now I plan on doing 12-14 sessions for Chapter 1. So I would highly doubt you would run before June 2019.

Just throwing my name in the hopper (with what I am willing, for now, to run), not trying to bump positions. Just making it all official like. I am itching to play some Fallout: OKC... "War... War never changes."

Based on some of the commentary from Friday, I am wondering if I should be concentrating my GM efforts on "Red Sky" after all ... the primary reason I put it on hiatus is the constant, unexpected absences that kept killing our momentum (of which we're all aware and no one is to blame for) ... but if that's preferred, I can try to refocus my attention there...

Well, with CJ here, we might be less likely to have too few available, so maybe it's worth it?

(of which we're all aware and no one is to blame for) QUIT BLAMING ME!!!!! Personally, I'm good with either - I don't have the connection to The Dresden Series as others and prefer sci-fi, but if the group is all about Red Sky, I'm game. A note: I'm likely to only miss a couple sessions this semester, but spring is likely to have me completely gone....

(of which we're all aware and no one is to blame for) QUIT BLAMING ME!!!!! Odysseus? Is that you? Amusing observation: depending on how long Xeno runs and then LabRat, it's entirely possible that I would start in the spring... The one-big concern I have with picking Red Sky back up is that it sort of bumps up against CommJunkee's offer of Night's Black Agents & the Dracula Dossier ... unless ... oh ... yeah. We play DD as a period piece! Like 1890s or 1960s.

Interesting thought-exercise: what if we came up with a group of PC characters we wanted to play, and then built a campaign around them?

Personally, I'm good with either - I don't have the connection to The Dresden Series as others and prefer sci-fi, but if the group is all about Red Sky, I'm game. And another "Maybe." So ... probably really need to hear from CommJunkee, LabRat, MagMan, and Xeno, hopefully with more than "Maybe" responses.

However, if the group goes for the Red Sky, I'm good with it. I would guess Labrat would have the opposite opinion as mine, however.
