Chapter II will be a shorter run than usual because of the limited amount of time I have to devote to this campaign. I am thinking of having this be a "sandwich" campaign where I can run 6-8 week bursts in between longer campaigns. I'm hoping the format of me running more often but not as long would help with prep time overall. For this Chapter, I think that I can take one of the storylines that the PCs are involved in and make it the bulk of this chapter. While I am working on getting OP updated here are some brief recaps that should help. I have a poll for you all to vote on. You can select up to two options and I'll go with the majority.
Option 1: Track down Proctor and help the ghouls- In Chapter 1, the PCs have uncovered a plot that involved spiking a water source with a drug named Flock. While harmless to humans, the drug severely affects ghouls by turning them feral during the withdrawal period. Ghouls that have been exposed to the drug are now forced to constantly find new sources of flock before they slip into a coma and eventually turn feral. The PCs tracked the water source to a secret nuka cola bottling plant in Purcell where they successfully shut down the plant. However, there are rumors of a slaver named Proctor deep in downtown OKC who is said to control the flock...and the ghouls.
Option 2: Help the BoS- The PCs found a BoS base located on the outskirts of Norman. Due to the fact this is a newer camp, and so they are short-staffed, the PCs were asked to look into finding some missing BoS members who were said to go and investigate vault 405. Bud and Doc Bones are immediately suspicious since they witnessed BoS members slaughtering everyone in vault 405 and barely escaping with their lives. The paladin commander denies any involvement in the slaughtering of innocent vault dwellers and is concerned there are bigger issues to uncover. He asks the PCs to help get to the bottom of the mystery and uncover who would do this, and more importantly, why?
Option 3: The town of Aceron is a busy bustling place, but there is so much to be done to make things easier for the people who live there. Right now the PCs have the beginnings of solar power, Bud is currently working on building a working motorcycle, Johnathan is welcomed back to River Styx, and Doc Bones just acquired a house. If you all want to keep things "closer to home" then we can focus on the trials and tribulations of wasteland living in a brahmin rustlin' town.
Option 4: While exploring the ruins of Norman, the PCs have heard mentionings of a heavy hitter named Creampuff. Little is known about this mysterious figure but the PCs do know that they are providing opportunities for people who have limited options...with nefarious results. Is this a turf war scuffle between gangs, such as the Tycoons? Or is something larger afoot? Since it seems like Creampuff's influence is in close proximity to the town of Acheron, it may be worth investigating.
