So, now that Season 1 is over, lets go over what went right & wrong. My (GM's) side:
- Clearly better than half the group would rather not think about the game outside Friday night. This sort of game is not really compatible with that mindset—needs something a bit more free-form, that doesn't require off-screen Player input. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but if it does, it'll have to be structured differently—some of us (the apparent minority, ATM) will be disappointed with the results. Them's the breaks, I guess.
- The "TV Series" structure will likely be a casualty of such a change—won't be able to keep the pacing up.
- The great amount of effort I put into creating the game will definitely be a casualty—I'm not going to wear myself out creating this stuff if most of the Players aren't going to reciprocate. 'Nuff said.

- If/When Season 2 returns, it will be after GURPS Low Tech is released. On the schedule for early '10, so barring delays, it would be "available" in a few months—which it would've been anyway.
- Rules Stuff:
- Immortals: Needs a small amount of refinement, but I'm happy with the results, overall.
- D&D Magic: Didn't really get to delve into this as much, but I'm satisfed so far.
- Plot Points: Mostly satisfied—less trouble getting Players to use them this time around. Couple of rules tweaks are in store.
- Mass Combat: I liked. Better than 3e, for sure.
- Chase Mechanic: I liked. Better than mine, at least.
- Tactical Combat is fine for a quickie, but takes way too long for a "normal" fight—need a good alternative between Tactical and Mass Combat.
- Some predictable groaning with regard to ranged/magic combat—you guys kinda got used to mostly-melee fighting through 11 out of 12 Episodes, so low-tech ranged combat is something that still needs to be gotten used to—no instant gratification there. No verdict. Need to explore that a bit sometime.
- Immortals: Needs a small amount of refinement, but I'm happy with the results, overall.
- Story Stuff:
- Once again, I think I probably made you guys more powerful than I'd like—don't know why I keep doing that. I'll leave it alone, probably, though. It's a Fantasy Supers game, anyhow—always was. I think I was just intending more Heroes than X-Men. Meh.
- No major story problems this time—must be improving
- 1-Week prep seems to have worked out acceptably, once again—sensing a pattern here.
- My improv is improving, somewhat—yay me.
