Just to see what happens…
Here's the "blurb" I had for Season 1:What would you write for the "blurb" for Season 2? No repeats—everybody come up with something(s) different. ;D

Summoned by a [king?, baron?, lord?] to face a dark threat looming on his borders, the heroes deal with the theft of their powers, a traitor, palace intrigue, and a war with the more dangerous foe than they have yet imagined.
Also, their house is on fire.

Bah. Am I the only one who doesn't want the powers to go away? Sure, scale them down but don't take 'em away entirely. That's just lazy.

Bah. Am I the only one who doesn't want the powers to go away? Sure, scale them down but don't take 'em away entirely. That's just lazy. I don't think they want that, just that they're responding to what I had said elsewhere. Need more specificity, guys. Something "actionable." Josh had the right idea.

Bah. I still think you could work around the power problem without completely removing them. Downgrade, yeah. Remove, no, because if they're removed, we're back to where we were with no language or era-specific combat skills since those are intrinsically tied to the powers...
More specificity ...

The idea of losing their powers was not mine. Gigermann already said he was planning on doing it so I incorporated it into my blurb. And I was thinking we would lose the powers like my magic and things like that. I assumed that many of the things we acquired (language, knowledges, et. al.) would remain. Of course we all know what happens when we assume. Really it doesn't matter to me if we have them or not. As far as the bracketed parts in the blurb. I left it open because I don't know his world well enough to say which one of those things would be most appropriate. Gigermann feel free to correct this by filling in the appropriate information. Word.

I have nothing to add to the idea bin . But I will throw in my thoughts on the current discussion. I believe that the game was much better before we became immortals not saying that it is not fun being immortals. Just that It kinda takes the fun out advancing. It would be like starting out at 1st level in D&D terms then 12 sessions later you are 20th level. You miss out on a lot of character development between 1st and 20th. Just one gamers opinion. I will have a good time no matter what Gigermann decides to do.

You guys are so missing the point here This was/is a subtle attempt to figure out what you want to do next. For example, the blurbs that have been offered thus far tend to indicate some desire to remain in the general area you were in—since they don't really feature "traveling far away" as a main point. Hence the need for specificity. My usual "Trailer" attempts haven't gotten me very far, of late, since nobody tends to participate in that one. Maybe your brains just don't work that way—fair enough, if so. This one got a little more activity that previous attempts—partial success, at least. So, maybe I'll just put it plainly: What do you want to see & do in Season 2?

Season 2: The Hunt: After coming to grips with their new found abilities, the heroes find themselves at an impasse...stay and help the town, or pursue the traitorous scum as he flees in fear. Needless to say, the hunt is on....to find the traitor before he can relay anymore information to the enemy, and hurt the townsfolk more than he already has.

I'm still trying to get this going; haven't forgotten. So far, I'm getting the impression that: - You want to stay in the same general area
- Get involved w/ the political situation
- Get drafted into/involved with military service
- Try to get powers back
- Tie up loose ends
So, you'd rather stay and have everything come to you than travel to the four corners? Nobody wants to slay a dragon? See the elves or whatnot? Find out how you got here in the first place? Start a football league? Are the characters even trying to get home? Just spurring some thought, here…
