Forgot to hand out CPs at the end (what with everyone bolting.) Usual 1 CP for attendance applies, +1 if you think you played in character (honor system is in effect.) No bonus point to an individual, though. Instead, everyone gets an addition CP for completing 'Volume 2: Foul Play.'

Could I get everyone to email me their most recent GCA files? I want to ensure I have an updated control sheet.

Don't know when, but one of the volume titles I'm going to use will totally be TRIGGER WARNING. Because I can! ETA: Daniel also suggested (and this is totally apt here): TORNADO WARNING.

With BLOOD DRIVE on the horizon, I recommend that you guys refresh yourselves on the characters and the past events. The Portals are being updated again.

I'll get to it sometime this week, maybe Wed or Thurs. I'm still unsure if I'll be in this one though.

In my email for OP notifications the game is on Saturday the 9th. Is a mistake? That's weird. It shows as the 8th on the calendarI'll get to it sometime this week, maybe Wed or Thurs. I'm still unsure if I'll be in this one though. So, when will you know whether you'll be joining us for my game? I'm cool either way (totally understand if you want to sit out) but if you're going to miss, I need to revise my plan somewhat (no major rewrite or anything; just have to readjust and rewrite some elements) so the earlier I know whether I'll have four players or three, the better it is for me. On the bright side, if you do decide to sit out, I may use you as a sounding board for the planned adventure stuff so win/win, either way, right? Plus, even if you sit out and want to show up to the game, I can totally put you to use with running some NPCs. Also, Giger, LabRat and MagMan should all consult the time use thing on the spreadsheet. Looks like all of you will have some CPs from time use. Note that I may change the Current Date to actual play date (or around there) so those numbers might increase. Let me know if you have any questions.

Updated notes: I've went ahead and pulled the trigger on the "Current Date" being closer to now. When the game starts, it will be 22 December, 2015. This means that book IV of the Dresden Files ("Summer Knight") has transpired (happened in June) which means the reigning Summer Lady was slain and has been replaced. All of Faerie has been rocked by this, especially as rumor speaks of a White Council wizard named Dresden being responsible for Lady Aurora's death and Lady Lily's ascension.

Have updated the Portals with the latest version of the characters (as far as I'm aware). Not uber urgent that anyone glance over them, just a declaration of intent. I mean to keep the characters as updated as possible there for instances where a player cannot make it and we need to know what Random PC's skill level in ... say ... Administration or Writing happens to be. Or, say we end a session in a cliffhanger where all PCs are involved and then Random Player can't make the next session for Reasons. This way, the other players can quickly glance over there and we don't have to jump through the hoops of printing a new character sheet or guessing. Also? The Main Wiki is looking really sharp. Many thanks to Giger for his assistance.

I forgot to ask: how did Sofia relate the "don't worry about the crazy Black Court vampire, guys. I just had a lovely chat with him..." to the rest of the team?

I forgot to ask: how did Sofia relate the "don't worry about the crazy Black Court vampire, guys. I just had a lovely chat with him..." to the rest of the team? Um, she probably just came back after having some liquid courage and said something along the lines of "Guess who I just had an encounter with?" Then she would tell them that somehow George views her as the person who freed him (which honestly I have no idea how he came to that conclusion?) and that he bears us no ill will for now and only wants to seek his revenge on those that imprisoned him by brutally murdering and draining them of all of their fluids. She will bring up the fact that he was imprisoned by that one dude (name starts with a D but I can't remember it) and that he said that he would pass along any additional information that pertains to him. So if they see a skinjob by the name of George, don't be too alarmed...unless he changes his mind and tries to eat their faces off, then they can be alarmed. She also is going to say how she clearly doesn't trust him, but the best course of action is to try to play nice because we really don't want to make him mad. For now, Sophia is really okay with him exacting his revenge, however she is worried about what will happen after the fact, when George decides to live his life feeding off of innocent people. She won't stand for that and knows they are eventually going to have to take him out. Right now, though, he is way out of their league in terms of combat.

which honestly I have no idea how he came to that conclusion? He's a crazy vampire who has been stuck in a hole for 60+ years and has Lecherous. So he fixated immediately on the hot wizard lady who threw fire at him. And has Weirdness Magnet. Dorjiev. Well to be fair, you might just do what Harry did to Mavra (a Black Court sorceress who I've sort of decided was George's Sire) in "Dead Beat" after she blackmailed him into doing something for her. That was book seven; book 16 comes out soon and we haven't seen any sign of Mavra since then. So you just need to be able to do an awesome threat like that.

" I've got a fallen angel tripping all over herself to give me more power. Queen Mab has asked me to take the mantle of Winter Knight twice now. I've read Kemmler's book. I know how the Darkhallow works. And I know how to turn necromancy against the Black Court." Yeah but see the difference between Dresden and Sophia? Mavra actually HAD a reason to be afraid of Harry because he could make good on his threat. Sophia doesn't exactly have multitudes of ways to inflict pain on a Black Court Vampire. Still, doesn't mean she couldn't bluff it. Makes me want to write something up OOC to whip out at just the right moment.

Am watching "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell." This show is awesome. It is well worth your time and does a great job of portraying both magic and a powerful Fae. Also, while watching this, Giger mentioned that it makes him want to do a caster so he may develop a secondary character along those lines for down the road. This would be an alternate character for him, so, for example, he could have Lee sit a session (or heck, an entire story arc) out ... or heck, he may end up playing two characters simultaneously. Troupe play, I believe it was called, where players have multiple characters and rotate through them as appropriate. Think of it this way: somewhere, out there, a young boy is starting to manifest his magical abilities and is destined to become Sofia's future apprentice. And Giger? He should totally look like this. Bwah ha ha ha ha!

This...intrigues me. So we would be be resolving our own personal plots for CP?

Hmm. Based on my reading, that's only really the case without a GM present, but I like the idea of the PCs determining what the next step is in resolving their personal plots. How would this work in a game, I wonder?
