Well, in the unlikely chance we find a light plane, John can at least fly it (skill 11) though obviously, we'd need a destination first. My recommendation for this upcoming week is thus: - John & Wes take the motorcycle and scout out for another/better vehicle. Thus far, the zombies all seem slow, so we should be able to evade them fairly easily. None-zombies (e.g., those Mexican'ts) not so much, though their offensive capability has been kind of neutered.
- Meanwhile, everyone else deals with the radio and obtaining any potential other information (like the printed stuff).
- Once we (hopefully) secure another ride, we rendezvous back at the radio station, then pick our next destination (checking the airport seems like a good idea)...

You guys have probably already forgotten, but the characters have not: there was a group of possibly-military folk that drove through the production camp and shot up everything that moved. Matthew remembers this rather vividly.

Might try to find another bike (I don't have the skill, but should be able to hopefully not kill myself on a bike) that way we can be a little more agile/mobile whlie looking for another vehicle and dodging the baddies You guys have probably already forgotten, but the characters have not: there was a group of possibly-military folk that drove through the production camp and shot up everything that moved. Matthew remembers this rather vividly. how long ago was this attack (not recalling the timeframe ATM) and do we know what direction they headed when they left town?

Huh. I actually had forgotten that. I stand by my previous suggestion for action, though.

Not a bad idea ...
One would think that it would be picked clean already, especially if the Guard are deployed...

And tools perhaps. Really depends on what kind of unit it is, I think.

And tools perhaps. Really depends on what kind of unit it is, I think. The place is tiny; no more than a platoon, and no motor pool that I can identify—not that the characters know that yet

some other places I'd like to check:
US Army Engineers camp? just south of reservoir
Council Grove airport. Who knows what we'd find there.

US Army Engineers camp? just south of reservoir Bear in mind you only have a basic street-map here—not that detailed

Yeah, on the basic map its a camp I think. Might find some tents or camping stuff. Survival stuff.

So ... this week. A lot will depend, I think, on how we're received. I'm expecting John to do the faceman thing and try to smooth over any ruffled feathers. Things I'm looking for are: - Information - do they have any additional info that we don't?
- Quest Icons. Looking for any floating over the heads of random citizens.
Ideally, I think we'd probably want to try and integrate ourselves into the town ... all post-apocalyptic towns need a team of Adventurers to do the crazy things those 25-point Locals can't or won't...

For me, it is hard to determine what to do next because we still haven't gotten a lot of information about what is going on. So I guess the first thing to do is ask around for information, and then we can decide if we want to stick around here or move on. Ann probably won't be 100% on board with settling here unless the people check out okay. Crowds make her nervous, so Ann is going to be a bit guarded and on high alert. This is a catastrophic event that has happened, so people may have gone a bit nuts. Honestly, I doubt our party would be keeping it together so well if were weren't PCs. It reminds me of playing Fallout 3, where you come across a perfectly nice little post-apocalyptic survivor town, but then you start noticing that people have gone missing and they keep offering you 'strange meat' for dinner.

I wanna find out if they're leaving town to get away from the group that we have with us, if they're just constantly staying on the move to stay on their toes, or if they are moving out due to some threat that is incoming.

I wanna find out if they're leaving town to get away from the group that we have with us, if they're just constantly staying on the move to stay on their toes, or if they are moving out due to some threat that is incoming. Right. Meant to address that. The characters will find this out when we start: After-the-fact, I read the card results a little differently—they are not moving to avoid the guys you just picked up finding them again, but because they've run out of supplies here, and there are illnesses they can't treat, and are looking for a rumored safe-haven. There are arguments about whether or not to leave—these homes have been in some families for generations, and some just don't want to leave at all. They (depending on who you talk to) really didn't want to see those guys again, though

Ok..want to find out if they have any medical practitioners, what illnesses they can't treat, and what rumors have they heard about the "safe-haven" in addition, ask the locals why they don't like the group that we brought back and who the groups leader is
